Copywriter

Job Description:
The copywriter collaborates closely with Foundry’s creative director in strategizing and creating compelling copy for our various print and digital marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities/skills include:

  • Writing fresh, fun copy for various marketing touch points including: websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, print collateral, and more.
  • Using key words and SEO research to create optimized content for digital platforms
  • Capable of thriving under tight deadlines and quick turnaround times
  • Maintaining consistent messaging across all channels for client campaigns
  • Developing sharp, compelling, impactful copy that reflects the client’s brand, voice and tone
  • Develop and deliver key messages in a cohesive and innovative way

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 1 year professional writing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or marketing
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Exceptional command of grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Solid planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail, good initiative and be a team player
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating prior work and capabilities

Account Coordinator

Job Description:
The account coordinator reports to the account executive and assists in the day-to-day management of a variety of accounts.

Responsibilities/skills include:

  • Advising clients and internal teams
  • Effectively and professionally communicating with clients on a daily basis
  • Opening jobs and writing diary notes for requested changes
  • Ensuring creative and production deadlines are being met
  • Preparing client status reports
  • Take detailed notes during meetings
  • Proof all copy and artwork to ensure accuracy before sending to clients

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a great attitude and be a team player
  • Solid planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail while demonstrating strong initiative

Production Artist

Job Description:
The production artist reports to our creative director and collaborates closely with Foundry’s account team in producing compelling creative assets for a spectrum of print and digital needs.

Responsibilities/skills include:

  • Strong ability to build digital files for all types of media (collateral, magazine, newsprint, digital, etc.)
  • Preparation of final production files for publications and printing
  • Create original content/layouts as well as revise/resize existing files to desired specs
  • Manage workflow efficiently and take responsibility for timing and delivery
  • Have a command of the creative requirements of marketing communications including: advertising, print, collateral, logo development and digital/email marketing
  • Knowledge in design for web/online/email marketing, mobile and print

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Graphic Design: 1 year
  • Minimum design school graduate or a few years in the advertising industry under your belt
  • Great graphic design/final production talent
  • Thorough knowledge of design programs (i.e Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, etc.)
  • Solid planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail, good initiative and be a team player
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating prior work and capabilities
