Laura brings five years of writing experience and seven years of marketing experience to the Foundry team. Prior to joining Foundry’s PR team Laura worked as a journalist for various publications, as well as founded The Tahoe Journal, a digital publication that focuses on creating “compelling, share-worthy” content. It was through growing and managing The Tahoe Journal that Laura developed a Jedi-like skillset in content strategy and digital marketing, and a passion for establishing long-lasting relationships within the community. She’s collaborated and worked in partnership with Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort, Live at Lakeview Music Series, FNCTN Music Series, the lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, BlueSky Events, South Lake Tahoe City Council and SnowGlobe Music Festival. Laura has also been published in Forbes Travel Guide, Bliss Babe Magazine, Tahoe Quarterly, Lake Tahoe Action, Bolivian Express, Elephant Journal, College Humor and, of course, The Tahoe Journal. Laura is a graduate of the Barrett Honor’s College of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a certificate in Entrepreneurship.
