Ski Apache

Ski Apache is a premier ski resort in New Mexico, complete with over 50 runs, a terrain park, ski lodge, zipline, the state’s only eight person gondola, and some of the best powder skiing in the region. Foundry was challenged with creating a campaign that captured the adventure, friendliness and unique culture of this ski destination, and also served to better attract a younger, hipper audience. Foundry created the “Calling All” campaign, which focused on epic photography, action-oriented headlines and an adrenaline-infused design.

The Situation

In addition to print, OOH, TV, radio, collateral and on-site materials, we created a comprehensive digital campaign and completely rebuilt their website, improving the navigation and updating the look to reflect the new brand.

Our digital strategy included audience segmentation and geographic targeting to ensure the right messages were reaching the right audience, as well as defining the best touch points to drive sales and increase attendance. Placements utilize cross-device targeting across Google Search Network, Google Display Network, local/regional media sites and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube) to reach target audiences in key local and feeder markets.

Research

Our OOM messaging focuses strongly on Stay & Ski packages to drive visitors from Northern New Mexico and Texas and encourage overnight stays at Ski Apache’s parent property, Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino. To date, the new campaign has generated:
